I've had the good fortune to travel to exotic places with my parents since I was a child. Whether it was travelling to Hawaii for my parents' wedding when I was just a year old with, at the time, bleach blonde Californian surfer hair or spending many summers on Morocco's beautiful beaches.
As I grew older, I carried my love of travel with me to university, where I studied Human Geography and specialised in how tourism could be used to improve the lives of those throughout the world who are less fortunate than me. This is what led me to decide to work for KILROY.
Here are a few of my favourite locations and memories I have had (so far):
- Surfing world renowned surf spots in Bali
- Skateboarding with some of the world’s best in Copenhagen
- Falling in love with Marrakesh's food, people, and Markets
- Driving through Death Valley in a Ford Mustang Convertible
- Skiing through the Alps of France
- Tasting Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream at the factory in Canada
Some of the places and experiences that are still on my bucket list:
- Surfing on the coast of Costa Rica
- Experiencing the culture of Rio de Janeiro's’ Carnival
- Seeing the futuristic city of Tokyo
- Going to the other side of the planet to see Australia
- Having a culture shock of seeing rural tribes in Central Africa
