Ever since I was young, I have wanted to travel anywhere and everywhere, as well as live and work abroad. Being from a small rural area in America, I did not actually get my own passport until I was twenty years old, but since then I have certainly made the most of it! My favourite type of travel is cultural immersion – I love learning, especially about cultures that are different from my own.
Some of my favourite travel memories include:
- Snorkelling in Fiji (the clearest water I have ever seen!)
- Seeing the famous ‘Tropicana’ cabaret show in Havana, Cuba
- Wine tasting in historic wine cellars in rural Poland
- Swimming in cenotes and touring Chichen Itza in Mexico
- Visiting Bavaria and climbing to Neuschwanstein Castle
- Driving along the California coastline in San Diego
Where is your next adventure?
My next adventure will be a rail journey through Europe, from France to Austria.
Where would you love to go next?
I would love to explore more of the ecotourism and sustainable tourism in Mauritius, the Maldives, or the islands of the South Pacific.
