The minimum age is now 19 across all of our resorts and hotels, with Silver Star Mountain Resort now requiring applicants to be at least 20. This will be the same for both summer and winter programmes.

Canada is without doubt one of the world’s best ski destinations and is renowned for its amazing winter season. Perfect snow conditions, a lively nightlife, varied terrain and breathtaking scenery. That can be your everyday if you choose a working holiday in Canada.

But Canada isn't only a winter wonderland. The summer months are when the place really heats up and everything and everyone comes out to enjoy the incredible wilderness. We also offer summer packages if you prefer to kick start your working holiday adventure in the summer months. Or perhaps you want to do both?

Where can I work? 


In winter there are opportunities at Lake Louise, the Cathedral Mountain Lodge and the Fairmont Banff Springs, among many others. All of these are top-notch locations winter sports and adventure and provide stunning nature among the mountains, lakes and forests. It's a true biking, climbing, hiking and kayaking paradise. Interviews for the summer season will start in late June to August, and the season starts in mid-October. The exact start dates vary per resort. 


What type of work is available? 


During the winter months, there are a lot of different jobs available in hospitality in for example ski resorts: guest services, bartender, retail, host and rental technician are among the possibilities. It's a great way to kickstart a career in the hospitality branch, in a really fun way! 


Biometric fingerprints are a must 


The Canadian government require that biometric fingerprints must be submitted as part of the visa application, which is currently only possible at the Canadian embassies or consulates in London, Stockholm, Paris, The Hague, Berlin, Reykjavik, Helsinki and Dusseldorf. 


Limited number of seats each season 


Please note that the Canadian Government offers a limited number of working holiday visas. As they are in high demand, we recommend that you consult one of our travel experts as soon as you know our Canada working holiday package is the right fit for you.
