Atlanta, Georgia

Collect and leave your car in the vibrant and fast growing city of Atlanta, Georgia where the most popular street name is Peachtree - YES they have 71 streets with that name. Atlanta also has a vibrant music scene and a lot of today's hip hop and R&B originate from here. While you're chilling in the city, you should most definitely get a "chili dog", Atlanta is famous for them!

If you're looking for some action, you should head out to Six Flags Amusement Park, just outside of Atlanta. They have some of the biggest roller coasters!

Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee

The Smoky Mountain National Park is well known for its amazing diversity of plant and animal life, beautiful ancient mountains and unbelievable remains of the Southern Appalachian mountain culture. Go and discover both the natural and cultural history of these ancient mountains.

On you're way out, stop by the Dollywood themepark! The park is of course owned by none other than Miss Dolly Parton herself.

Nashville, Tennessee

Here you will be able to listen to live music all across town 24/7. Enjoy listening to honky-tonk bands jamming at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, songwriters taking their first steps at the Bluebird Cafe and/or country music legends rocking the Grand Ole Opry. You never know whom you might see!

Memphis, Tennessee

Elvis Presley and Graceland - do we need to say more? Well Memphis is also the barbecue capital of America with rib joints serving up the tastiest pork you have ever tasted. Soul food and rock n roll, now that is a killer combination.

Jackson, Mississippi

You might remember the city from the movie "The Help" or because of its blossoming music venues that feature music ranging from Heavy Metal, to Indie Rock, to Blue Grass. Either way do not forget to sit down at a local diner and try the peach cobbler!

If you're a history buff, you should visit Vicksburg on the Mississippi River, just outside Jackson. Vicksburg is a small historical town with a large battlefield from the Civil War.

New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans is all about the Blues, Jazz, voodoo and the craziness that is Mardi gras! Go on a pub-crawl in the charming French Quarter, get down and dirty on Bourbon Street and enjoy all the great food the city has to offer!

Want to see some ghosts? Go ghost hunting on a tour in the French Quarter of New Orleans!

Pensacola, Florida

Hang out downtown and sample some local brew, rent a bike and explore the coast or take in the historical sites around the city. Visit places like Fort Pickens, Fort Barrancas, Arcadia Mill and so much more. There are some seriously pretty beaches aroud Pensacola - so bring your bathing suit!

Savannah, Georgia

Savannah is a place for amazing colonial architecture, spooky cemeteries and a rich history. This city is actually known as one of the most haunted cities in all of the U.S. and with the immense history of this town you might get lucky and feel the hair on your neck stand up.
If you’d like to leave the ghost behind, head down to River street and enjoy some local draft while you enjoy the riverfront view.

For those of you who has seen the all-time classic: Forrest Gump, you’ll be to trace his footsteps around this city. The actual bench he sat on in the movie (in Chippewa Square) has been moved to the museum though – but you can check it out there!

Charleston, South-Carolina

Being a coastal town, Charleston offers a variety of water sports, sailing and lazy days on the beach. Maybe it’s exactly what you need after hours in a car? If you’re looking to clock in some steps, explore the city on foot and head on over to Rainbow Row for the perfect Instagram backdrop!

Since this is the south, there’s no way around the era of plantations in this area. Visit one of the plantation museums and gardens to learn more about the history of enslaved African Americans in this region.

Atlanta, Georgia

Back in Atlanta is where you'll drop off your car! In this suggestion we've included flights home from Atlanta, but maybe you're not done with the south or maybe you want you want to see a few other places? No worries, just reach out to us and we'll help you plan the rest of your journey.
