Community volunteering is about helping people so they can help themselves. By participating in one of our volunteer projects in Ecuador you will use your own resources and strengths by teaching children in local schools, playing games, cooking or by joining other community related volunteer projects in Ecuador.
Language requirements for volunteering in Ecuador
It is possible to volunteer in Ecuador without any Spanish language skills. However, we recommend that you take a 1-2 week language course in Spanish before you start working on a volunteer project. In this way you will get more challenging tasks and the NGO that we work with will get more out of your help.
