The Britz Venturer campervan is a fantastic option for a couple or two friends who want to travel in comfort.

With its flexible and spacious bed configurations, exterior slide-out BBQ, LCD and DVD player, and toilet and shower facilities on board, the Venturer campervan is a true home away from home.

The Venturer also comes in a Venturer Plus edition with an extra (but shorter) bed for a child.

Please note. The high season for campervan rental in New Zealand runs from mid November to late February. The earlier you book, the cheaper the price will be. As availability becomes limited, campervan rental becomes more expensive. So don't wait too long to book your New Zealand adventure!

Driving and sleeping

The front cabin of the Britz Venturer seats two people (three in the Plus edition). It's a medium-sized turbo diesel unit with an automatic transmission.

This van features one double bed in the back but it also converts into two single beds - whatever you prefer. During the day, the beds transform to become the seating area where you can relax and enjoy your meals. Read more

Supplied in the campervan you will find linen and bedding, kitchen essentials including crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, plus the general living gear you’ll need.

Don’t forget to pack soft bags instead of a suitcase – much easier to store in the campervan. Read more

Kitchen facilities and bathroom

The kitchen, shower and toilet is located in the centre of the Venturer campervan. The kitchen stove has four burners and there is also a microwave oven, which is highly convenient when you just need to heat or re-heat your food (requires power hook-up). The fridge/freezer keeps your groceries cold while on the road.

The on-board bathroom has a toilet and even a shower, so you can freshen up on the go. Read more

There are three Britz rental centres in New Zealand: Auckland / Christchurch / Queenstown.

It is possible to book one-way rentals between all the Britz rental centres in New Zealand. A one-way rental fee applies (NZD $100-400). Read more
