The Maui Ultima campervan is a fantastic option for a couple or 2 friends who want to travel in comfort.

With its flexible and spacious bed configurations, exterior slide out BBQ, LCD and DVD player, and toilet and shower facilities on boardm the Ultima campervan is a true home away from home.

The Ultima also comes in a "Ultima Plus" edition with an extra, but short bed for a child.

Please note. The high season for campervan rental in Australia runs from October to March. The earlier you book, the better prices. When availability goes down, the campervans become more expensive. Don't wait too long to book!

Driving and sleeping

The front cabin of the Ultima seats 2 people (3 in the "plus" edition). It's a medium sized turbo diesel unit with an automatic transmission. If you are not familiar with the steering wheel to the right and driving in the left side of the road, don't worry, it will only take you a short while to get comfortable.

This van features one double bed in the back but it also converts into two single beds, whatever you prefer. During the day, the beds transform to the seating area where you can relax and enjoy your meals. Read more

Basics

Supplied in the camper you will find linen and bedding, kitchen essentials including crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils plus general living gear you’ll need.

Don’t forget to pack soft bags instead of a suitcase – much easier to store in the campervan. Read more

Kitchen facilities and bathroom

The kitchen, shower and toilet is located in the centre of the Ultima campervan. The kitchen stove has four burners and there is also a microwave oven which is quite convenient when you just need to heat or re-heat your food (requires power hook-up). The fridge/freezer holds your groceries cold while on the road.

The on-board bathroom has a toilet and even a shower, so you can freshen up on the go. Read more

There are nine Maui rental centres in Australia: Alice Springs / Adelaide / Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane / Cairns / Darwin / Perth / Broome.
