The Kuga campervan is ideal for two travellers on a budget that want to travel in style.

The Kuga campervan is fully equipped for travelling and living comfortably in the outback, the city, or down at the beach. With plenty of storage for your personal items, all you need when you rent this campervan is to throw in your sense of adventure. The Kuga features a practical and comfortable interior, with a kitchenette and bedding fitted out between 2016-2019.

It further provides you with extra internal height compared to the traditional Hitop Campervan. Spacious enough to stand up and move around inside, this is the perfect choice for two travellers.

The Kuga campervan comes with a built-in fridge, gas stove and microwave - the ideal compact campervan to rent for your travels around Australia.

Please note. High season for campervan rental in Australia runs from October to March. The earlier you book, the better the price. When availability goes down, the campervans become more expensive. Don't wait too long to book!

Driving and sleeping in the Kuga campervan

The Kuga Campervan is a compact vehicle and simple to drive. It features power steering, power brakes and manual transmission. The front cabin seats three people (two adults and a child) while driving, but only two people can sleep in the double bed at the rear of this campervan. If you bring a child, there is a short top single bed (length: 160 cm). During the day, the double bed can be stored and a table pops up. Up to four people can sit comfortably and enjoy a nice campervan dinner. Under the bunks you have space for luggage. Read more

The Kuga Campervan includes a living space with built-in kitchenette. Here you will find a sink with electrical pump (the water tank holds 35L), microwave, two burner gas stove and the 57-litre fridge. A practical side table folds out when the side door is open. Rental locations and one-way rental

There are six Travellers Autobarn rental centres in Australia: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin and Perth.

It is possible to book free one-way rentals between the rental centres on the East Coast (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns). A one-way rental fee applies for one-way trips to and from Perth and Darwin (AUD $300-700). Read more

Age restrictions

You must be 18 years of age (at the time of pickup) with a valid driver’s licence to rent a Travellers Autobarn campervan. No young driver fee is charged. Read more

Prices

The rental price varies according to demand and season. You'll get the lowest price if you book your Kuga campervan well in advance when availability is high. It's also cheaper to travel during low season. On the other hand, if you book close to your departure date or book your camper for high season, you'll pay more. It's just like flight tickets.
