The observatory spans three decks on the 70th floor, offering 360-degree views from both indoor and outdoor spaces across 55,000 square feet. You’ll see landmarks like Central Park, the Hudson River, and on clear days, even as far as Connecticut. Notably, the observatory offers a unique perspective of the Empire State Building itself.

The visit begins with a rapid glass elevator ride, the Sky Shuttle, which takes you 850 feet up in under a minute. Once at the top, explore exhibits detailing the Rockefeller Center’s 1930s construction, including short films on its 10-year build during the Great Depression.

From the observatory, you can spot New York’s iconic skyline features, including the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the George Washington and Brooklyn Bridges, One World Trade Center, and the Statue of Liberty.
