The Old Synagogue is the oldest synogogue in Poland. It was originally built in the second half of the 15th century. Unfortunately, it has burnt down a few times and was ransacked and looted by the Nazis during WWII. It was rebuilt in 1956 and its Gothic-Renaissance look was restored. Today, it is a museum which presents Jewish religious items in three major exhibitions: the synagogue, holidays and ceremonies and private and family life.
