The beautiful college dates back to around the year 1400, while the college courtyard was constructed during the years 1492–1540. It is the oldest preserved university building in Poland. Today, the building houses the university's very fascinating museum, including some of Copernicus' instruments, the world's first globe – which showed an image of America (from 1510), and the professors' dining hall.
