A first stop in Valletta, the capital city, which, on its own, contains a big part of the rich local artistic heritage. In the programme: Upper Barrakka Gardens with a panoramic view of the Grand Harbour, St. John’s co-cathedral as well as the oratory to view the famous Caravaggio masterpiece «The Beheading of St. John» followed by Malta’s new art museum, MUZA. We will then proceed towards Mdina to discover the ancient capital city of the island. During this walk in the heart of the Silent City, we will visit St. Paul’s Metropolitan Cathedral, the cathedral museum and the city’s bastions, which offer an unimpeded view of the island.
