Although St. Stephen’s Basilica is the largest Roman Catholic church in Budapest, it is difficult to spot because it is surrounded by dense buildings. In fact, the church is best seen from the Fishermen's Bastion. The church is built in Neo-Renaissance style, with an impressive dome reaching 96 meters in height. It was consecrated in 1905. In a side chapel, you can see the mummified right hand of Saint Stephen, which is kept in a precious reliquary.
