Most travelers will probably head straight to the incredibly beautiful blue waters of the Adriatic Sea and the many kilometers of shoreline. If you only want to visit one city on the trip, Dubrovnik is a good choice, which is considered the most beautiful city in Croatia. The city center from the 13th century is incredibe and the atmosphere is fantastic.

The autonomous nation of Croatia can be traced back to about 1000, where it arose as a result of the conversion into Roman Catholic faith. In 1945, the country was incorporated into Titus Yugoslavia. In 1990 Yugoslavia broke up, and peace was only restored with the UN ceasefire in 1992. Today, Croatia is progressing country, and it joined the EU in 2013.
The typical Croatian household always stock good cheese and olive oil. The two ingredients make up the rootstock of many local dishes - often in pies. Along the coast, the restaurants serve excellent fish and shellfish caught in the Adriatic Sea. The country has a large wine production of quite excellent quality.
