Turkey is a very large agricultural producer and largely self-sufficient. The country is one of the largest producers of tomatoes, apples, wheat, barley, sugar beets, tea, tobacco, and cotton. Part of their production is exported. During the day you will visit several farms. One option could be a poultry farm. You will get an insight into the farm and learn about the production, feeding processes, hygiene, etc. The nearest farm is 150 km outside Istanbul and if you want to visit a farm, you have to set apart one day for the purpose. The place to visit can vary depending on the time of the year. In order for us to request the visit, you will have to write a short statement in English in which you describe the topics and questions you want to have clarified.
The price is incl. English speaking guide.
