The Kozel brewery is situated 25 kilometer south-east of Prague in the area Velke Popovice.
The brewery is absolutely worth a visit if you want to be acquainted with a modern brewing company, beer production and the brewing process.
You will tour the historic brewhouse, and the still functioning brewery.
You will also get to the cellars where the beer ferments/matures, and to the packaging hall where the beer is bottled and canned.
The tour itself takes about 1½ hours and you will end the tour by tasting a beer, if you are over 18 years of age.
