The Torness Power Station is located approx. 1 hour’s drive from Edinburgh. This is an obvious visit for groups interested in physics and chemistry.
You have the opportunity to join an exciting tour, with a local guide, to see the reactor gallery and the turbine hall.
After that, the group will be guided to the visitor centre, that has an interactive exhibition, where you can learn more about nuclear power, and ask questions to the guide.
Please note, that all participants must be aged 16, and bring your passport for this tour!
A booking fee will be charged.
