Butlers Chocolate Factory & Experience

Butlers was founded in 1932 and is a 100% Irish owned company delivering chocolate to more than 35 countries worldwide. Everything is manufactured at the factory in Dublin. Gain an ultimate insight into the production and the history about chocolate – where it comes from, and about the different types of chocolate. You will experience a working chocolate factory - from the cocoa bean to the finished chocolate packed in beautiful gift boxes and distributed to the entire world. The tour will start with a video presentation of the history and origin of chocolate, and of the foundation and establishment of Butlers. Then you will continue to their small museum before accessing the factory. A personal guide will follow you along the way and you are welcome to ask all the questions you might have. Finally, you get to decorate your own chocolate which you, of course, are allowed to take with you (against payment). By the entrance you will find Butlers Chocolate Café, where you can buy chocolate as a souvenir. There is also an outdoor picnic area available where you can enjoy an optional packed lunch. Tours run daily at 10:00, 12:00 and 15:30.
