No study tour to Athens without a visit to Delphi – the famous oracle in classical antiquity. In ancient Greece, people made the pilgrimage to Delphi for answers about their fate. Hire a bus and go to the high Parnássos Mountain in the morning. Along the way you will experience a change in the landscape from flat land near Athens to a fertile and mountainous landscape, and you will see the Temple of Apollo and the Holy Road. Then you can follow the trails and see the many sanctuaries and end at the Delphi Museum. The museum shows a collection of sculptures and fragments of buildings in 13 halls. You will depart from your hotel at approx. 08 a.m. The trip to Delphi takes about 2 ½ hours by bus. Arrival at your hotel at about 6 p.m.
