Cairns Experience the world below the surface
You'll arrive in Cairns as the first stop on this itinerary with three nights in a really cool hostel, where you will be able to meet lots of other backpackers from all over the world.
Once you've settled in it's time for you to go explore. Obviously the city itself is cool to explore, but we recommend that you pay a visit to nearby Cape Tribulation or Daintree National Park. After three days it's time for you to explore the world below the surface with a 3-day fundiving package. In case you don't have your diver's certificate yet, we can swap the fundiving to a learn to dive package.
From Cairns you travel south to Brisbane using the included 7-day Greyhound bus pass.
Brisbane Surf's up!
Arrive in Brisbane and explore this vibrant coastal city. How long you want to stay here before going on the surf adventure of your lifetime is entirely up to you. We've arranged a really cool 7-day moving surf camp that takes you from Brisbane to Sydney - surfing along the way. It's a great way to combine the transport to Sydney and surfing, while enjoying the company of other likeminded backpackers.
Sydney Enjoy the vibrant city life
After a week of surfing, it's time to chill for a few days with three nights in a cool hostel in Sydney. There'll be plenty of opportunities to hang out and party with other backpackers, as well as exploring the city. Sydney boasts a lot of great beaches by the way, so if you can't wait for the bounty life in Fiji, then you can give it a shot here as well.
Whenever you're ready to leave Sydney, board the plane to Auckland in New Zealand for an out-of-this-world nature experience.
Auckland to Christchurch Enjoy New Zealand your way
It's time for a change of scenery. And New Zealand is home to some of (perhaps even the most) extraordinary landscapes in the world. You get to explore it all with your included 21-day bus pass, taking you from Auckland on the North Island to Christchurch in the South Island. What you choose to see along the way is up to you!
Accommodation is not included - only transport between Auckland and Christchurch. But we can add hostel/hotel accommodation when you're ready to firm up your itinerary in New Zealand.
Fiji Soak in the sun, sea and sand
Last stop on this itinerary is Fiji. You'll fly from Christchurch to Nadi, the capital of Fiji, with two nights' hostel accommodation to get your bearings. Then it's time for seven days of island hopping, exploring four different islands along the way. You'll be onboard a boat with other backpackers where it's all about chilling, swimming, partying and enjoying the sweet, sweet island life.
To finish up, head back to Nadi for two nights before flying back home to the UK. Unless you have something else in mind, in which case, our travel experts can extend your trip.
