Along the way, you'll enjoy a night out on the town in Brisbane and a 4x4 drive around Fraser Island. There'll be hikes along the Noosa Coastal Track and a sailing trip around the Whitsundays before finishing your adventure at a party hostel in Cairns.

This itinerary is just a suggestion and can be customised to suit your unique travel plans. Make it longer, make it shorter. Add in the things you want to do. Get in touch with our travel experts to turn this itinerary into your dream trip.

Sydney Start the adventure

Start out easy as we have included the first 4 nights in one of our favorite hostels in Sydney. Get to know the city and explore all the cool neighbourhoods. In Sydney you have to go to the beautiful beaches - Bondi, Manly, Narrabeen and Congee are some of the best. And you can't miss the famous Sydney Opera House or the stunning harbour.

Sydney to Brisbane Surf adventure

Next, you'll travel from Sydney to Brisbane with other backpackers for six days to master the waves on a surfboard. At the Spot X surf camp, you'll have surf lessons each day, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner. Spend all your energy during the day out on the water, and chill at the surf camp at night with your fellow surfer dudes.

Brisbane to Cairns White sand beaches all over

Bring out your flip-flops, because now it's time for an extraordinary beach adventure. You're again travelling with likeminded backpackers but this time for 10 days.

The first night is for you to enjoy the company of your new friends in Brisbane. After Brisbane, you continue north to Noosa Everglades, Fraser Island and Airlie Beach - the perfect combination of inland rivers and beautiful beaches. But you haven't seen anything yet! Because then it's onto the Whitsundays with mind-blowing beaches and the most beautiful turquoise water. Google it if you don't believe us! After 10 days with the group, you end this adventure in Cairns.

Cairns The perfect place to end your trip

This itinerary ends in Cairns, where you've got three nights in a really cool hostel known for its awesome parties. You can choose to spend your days in the city, or join day tours to some of the attractions outside of Cairns. If you choose the latter, we recommend paying a visit to either Cape Tribulation or Daintree National Park (or both!).

Whether you want to end your adventure here and head home, or want to continue exploring on your own, is up to you. No matter what you choose, we'll help you plan and book your trip.
