Buenos Aires Kickstart your adventure!

Begin your journey in Buenos Aires, the pulsating heart of Argentina. This city perfectly blends European elegance with Latin American zest. Start in San Telmo, where cobblestone streets and colonial buildings are the highlight. Don't miss La Boca, famous for its colourful houses and the iconic Caminito street.

Dive into the city’s culinary scene with a visit to Palermo, where you can savour traditional Argentine steaks at a parrilla or enjoy a modern twist on local cuisine. For a dose of culture, explore the grand Teatro Colón, one of the world's premier opera houses, or wander through the Recoleta Cemetery, the final resting place of Eva Perón.

Buenos Aires is a city that never sleeps, so be sure to experience its nightlife, from rooftop bars to lively clubs. Whether you're a history buff, a foodie, or a dance enthusiast, Buenos Aires has something for everyone, making it the perfect start to your Argentine adventure.

Bariloche Visit Nahuel Huapi National Park

Next, head to Bariloche, a stunning alpine town nestled in the foothills of the Andes. Known for its breathtaking landscapes, Bariloche is a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Begin your exploration with a visit to the Nahuel Huapi National Park, where crystal-clear lakes and towering mountains offer endless opportunities for outdoor activities. Hiking and biking trails abound, providing panoramic views of the surrounding scenery. In the winter, Bariloche transforms into a ski resort, with Cerro Catedral offering some of the best slopes in South America.

Don't miss the chance to try some of Bariloche's famous chocolate, with numerous choco shops lining the streets. The town itself boasts charming Swiss-style architecture, giving it a unique and cosy feel. After a day of adventure, relax at one of the lakeside cafes or take a scenic drive along the Circuito Chico for more stunning views.

El Calafate Perito Moreno glacier

You’re hopping on a local flight to El Calafate, where you’ll be picked up and taken to your accommodation. You have three days to explore this charming city and visit the Perito Moreno glacier in Los Glaciares National Park before heading to a new destination.

Something you should absolutely do while in El Calafate is to chill at Lago Argentina for a day. It’s a great spot for picnics and dipping your toes on a hot day!

El Chaltén Argentina's trekking capital

From El Calafate, you make your own way (and back) to El Chaltén, Argentina's trekking capital. Nestled within the Los Glaciares National Park, El Chaltén is a paradise for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. The village itself is small and cosy, with a laid-back atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding after a day on the trails.

The main attraction here is Mount Fitz Roy, whose jagged peaks provide a dramatic backdrop to your adventures. There are numerous trails to suit all levels of hikers. For a moderate hike, try the Laguna Capri trail, which offers stunning views of Fitz Roy and a beautiful lake as your reward. More experienced hikers might tackle the Laguna de los Tres trail, a challenging trek that takes you close to the base of Fitz Roy. Along the way, you'll encounter glaciers, rivers, and lush forests.

Torres del Paine The iconic W trek

After your time in El Chaltén, return to El Calafate and then cross the border into Chile to explore the iconic Torres del Paine National Park. This UNESCO Biosphere Reserve is famous for its striking landscapes, including the towering granite peaks of the Paine Massif, azure lakes, and huge glaciers. Spend a few days hiking the park’s well-marked trails, with options ranging from short walks to the challenging "W" and "O" circuits.

Highlights include the trek to the base of the Torres del Paine towers, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the three granite spires that give the park its name. Wildlife enthusiasts will be thrilled by the chance to spot guanacos, Andean condors, and more. Besides hiking, you can also explore the park by kayak or boat. Each turn reveals a new stunning view, making Torres del Paine a paradise for nature lovers. With its rugged beauty and diverse ecosystems, Torres del Paine is a highlight of any trip to Patagonia.

Ushuaia End of the world

Your next destination is Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, often referred to as the "End of the World." Begin your exploration with a visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, where you can hike through forests, along rivers, and up to panoramic viewpoints. A boat tour on the Beagle Channel is included, offering a chance to see marine wildlife like sea lions, penguins, and more.

Visit the historic prison-turned-museum, Museo Maritimo y del Presidio, to learn about Ushuaia’s past as a penal colony. If you're up for something more active, we recommend kayaking or even scuba diving in these cold waters. Ushuaia's remote location and stunning landscapes make it a fitting finale to your Argentine adventure, leaving you with memories of the beautiful and wild "End of the World."
