Bangkok Days 1-3

Welcome to Thailand and the start of your honeymoon adventure!

Upon arrival at Bangkok's international airport, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel where you can relax after your flight.

The next day you'll head out on a private tour of the city's backwaters and temples. A longtail boat will take you down the Chao Phraya - the main river in Bangkok - with the city skyline as your backdrop. You'll explore the klongs - a range of wooden stilt houses that decorate the river - and a number of temples, including Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen with its 69-metre-tall Buddha statue in the meditation posture.

You'll also visit an artist's village, home to an old barber shop, old grocery and vintage posters, with a stop made to feed the holy catfish.

Heading back to the city, have lunch near the pier before visiting two of the most important landmarks in Bangkok - the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.

The following day is free for you to explore independently. Later in the evening you'll head out on a guided tour of Bangkok's 'Old Town' by tuk-tuk. Snack on famous street food, walk the backstreets and photograph the city skyline at night from a special vantage point. Finish at the 24-hour flower market to get a feel for the hustle and bustle that makes the capital so famous.

Kanchanaburi Days 4-6

On day 4 you'll be picked up from your hotel in Bangkok and transferred to Kanchanaburi. Here you'll learn all about the history of the area with a visit to the interactive Thailand-Burma Railway Centre.

You'll also visit the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, which is a memorial to some 6,000 allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place. Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai before taking lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon you'll visit the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre to understand the rationale for the railway, the way in which it was constructed and the hardship experienced by those who worked on it. Next walk the Hellfire Pass Memorial Walking Trail.

The day concludes at your accommodation - the Hintok River Camp where a BBQ dinner will be served.

The following day take a longtail boat to the River Kwai Jungle Rafts. On the way, you will visit the nearby Mon tribal village, the Golden Rock, Buddha image cave and village school. Learn a little about the Mon culture and traditions before following an easy jungle trail to reach a stunning viewpoint of the River Kwai. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.

Enjoy a leisurely morning the next day before returning to Bangkok for an overnight sleeper train to Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai Days 7-9

Arriving into Chiang Mai train station, you'll be met and transferred to your accommodation where you can enjoy an early check-in and take some time to relax after your overnight journey.

The next day it's time to try your hand at Thai cooking. You'll learn how to cook tasty Thai dishes in a beautiful home-garden setting. Start with a trip to the local market to get to know the ingredients, and shop for whatever you need for your dishes. You'll make six dishes and get to enjoy them all for lunch, plus you'll leave with a cookbook to take home and recreate these tasty meals.

Day 9 is completely at leisure in Chiang Mai. Relax at the hotel or venture out to explore Chiang Mai’s unique charm—from quaint cafes to peaceful temples and bustling local markets.

Khao Sok National Park Days 10-12

This morning you'll transfer to Chiang Mai airport for your included flight south to Surat Thani. On arrival you'll be met and transferred to Khao Sok National Park. Check in and relax in your own private tree house, complete with a balcony where you can sit and admire the stunning views.

As the sun sets over Khao Sok, the jungle symphony begins and comes alive. After dinner, there is no better time for a night safari. Let our expert guides lead you through a 2–3-hour hike and introduce you to the amazing animals that inhabit the jungle. From bats to insects, frogs to deer, and even the elusive jungle cat.

The following day, hike through the jungle to the Cheow Lan viewpoint for the stunning vista and the opportunity to explore a local cave. After a local lunch, embark on a scenic longtail boat ride across the serene waters of Cheow Lan Lake. Surrounded by the dramatic limestone cliffs of Khao Sok National Park, there’s no better way to experience the tranquility and unique beauty of this area than by staying right on the lake.

Enjoy a leisurely afternoon swimming and canoeing at your own pace before embarking on a late afternoon boat safari to spot wildlife along the shores of Cheow Lan Lake. Return to your raft house in the evening and enjoy a local Thai dinner while soaking in the serene ambiance of the lake.

On your final day in Khao Sok National Park there's the option to take a sunrise boat safari. After breakfast you'll depart the park via a scenic boat ride to Cheow Lan Lake pier. Here you'll have lunch before continuing by land to Krabi where a shared boat transfer will take you to the peaceful island of Koh Yao Noi.

Koh Yao Noi Days 13-15

The next few days are free for you to relax on the pristine beaches of Koh Yao Noi. You'll be staying at the Paradise Koh Yao - a boutique resort right on the beach.

Choose from a wide range of activities and excursions during your stay including Phang-Nga Bay sightseeing excursions, mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkelling and island hopping. You can also join one of the onsite Batik/tie dye classes and create your own souvenirs.

On day 15 it's time to check out and say goodbye to Thailand with a boat and land transfer to Phuket international airport for your flight home.
