Explore some of the most idyllic islands of the Philippines on this honeymoon adventure that combines beachfront resorts with off-grid campsites for an experience 'less ordinary'.

Start your adventure in the capital of Manila with an overnight stay to relax after your flight and prepare for a morning flight to Puerto Princesa - the perfect jumping off point for visiting the natural wonders of Palawan. Here you'll explore the world's longest underground river with a boat tour of Sabang and its complex cave system.

Next it's time to get a little Robinson Crusoe with a 3-night expedition to discover the hidden paradise of Balabac - a remote group of islands in southern Palawan known for their pristine beaches, clear blue waters and rich marine life. You'll be visiting untouched islands by day and sleeping under the stars at basic campsites at night.

After four days off grid, it's time to return to civilisation with a few nights at two different but equally charming resorts in Palawan with time at leisure for you to do as little or as much as you wish.

Manila Arrival

Welcome to the Philippines and the start of your honeymoon adventure!

On arrival at Manila's international airport, make the short way to the Savoy Hotel, located just 350m from the NAIA terminal 3.

Spend the night at leisure and relax after your flight - tomorrow morning you'll be heading off to start exploring some of the most beautiful islands in the Philippines.

Puerto Princesa Subterranean Rivers

This morning you'll be taking a morning flight to Puerto Princesa. On arrival you'll be met and transferred to The Funny Lion Resort.

This picturesque beachfront resort is the perfect base for exploring the natural wonders of Palawan. It's surrounded by a tranquil and tropical landscape featuring virgin mangroves and coconut trees with unparalleled view of Sulu Sea.

The next day you'll explore the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park - home to the world's longest underground river. This complex cave system is one of the most important protected areas in the Philippines with spectacular limestone and karst landscapes, and a 8.2km-long underground river that flows directly into the sea.

The discovery of at least 11 minerals, crystal and egg shape rock formations, and a 20-million-year-old Miocene age Sirenia fossil in the cave further add to its scientific value. The Puerto Princesa Underground River is declared as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Balabac Go off grid

Early the next morning you'll be picked up at your accommodation for the start of a unique 3-night expedition around the untouched islands of Balabac. This remote group of islands in southern Palawan is known for their pristine beaches, clear blue waters and rich marine life.

On this group expedition you'll have a rare opportunity to disconnect and immerse in true island living - camping under the stars, visiting untouched islands, and exploring with fellow adventurers. This is an expedition-style journey with no fixed itinerary, allowing flexibility depending on tides and weather. Expect limited connectivity, simple island facilities, and a rich, off-the-grid experience.

Over the next three days you'll visit a number of islands, including Patawan, Tangkahan and Canibungan with snorkelling at either Nasubata or Candaraman island. You'll also visit a few sandbars, one of which is home to a population of starfish.

On day 4 you'll depart early for the 7hr journey back to Puerto Princesa via boat and road. Later that day, check back in to The Funny Lion Resort in Puerto Princesa where you will spend the next two nights. Freshen up after your camping experience and relax by the pool.

Big Budacan Island Private Island Getaway

On day 9 you'll say goodbye to the Funny Lion Resort and journey north to the tip of Palawan island, starting with a 4-5hr land transfer and ending with a 1.5-2hr private boat transfer.

You'll be heading to Big Budacan Island, also known as Flower Island and home to the Flower Island Resort - a tranquil paradise, where nature’s beauty and peaceful surroundings offer the perfect escape. Nestled in one of the Philippines' most pristine locations, the resort blends seamlessly with the lush environment, creating a serene retreat for nature lovers. With yacht-friendly mooring points and a variety of rejuvenating activities, it’s an ideal destination to relax, explore, and reconnect with the world around you.

Over the next four days you can participate in a range of optional activities, including kayaking, freediving, scuba diving and island hopping. Hike up the island peak for 360 views, arrange a private island picnic with your partner, or visit a working pearl farm.

The resort also has its own spa where you can let trained masseuses guide you into calm with soothing treatments.

Manila Departure

On day 14 it's time to leave paradise behind with a boat and land transfer to El Nido airport for a domestic flight back to Manila.

On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel close to the international airport. Spend the night here at leisure before your return flight home to the UK the following day.
