Buenos Aires A sultry start

Welcome to Argentina and the start of your unforgettable honeymoon!

Upon arrival at Buenos Aires' international airport, you'll be met with a warm welcome and transferred to your hotel where you can spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Relax after your flight or head out to explore the surrounding area.

The next day you'll get to know Argentina's capital city with a tour that introduces you to the various neighbourhoods with their distinctive characteristics. You'll visit the Plaza de Mayo and the areas of San Telmo and La Boca. There will also be the chance to explore the famous cemetery of Recoleta.

Later in the evening enjoy a VIP Tango dinner show in one of the oldest Tango houses in Buenos Aires.

Iguazu Falls The power of nature

The following morning transfer to the domestic airport for your included flight to Iguassu where you'll spend two nights and explore both sides of the falls, which are located on the border between Argentina and Brazil.

Start with an afternoon tour of the Brazilian side of the falls. Follow the walkway circuit that faces the cascades, offering an impressive panoramic view.

The next day discover the Argentinean side of the falls following three routes around the park. Visit various observation points to see the might of nature from different angles. More than 200 falls make up Iguazu Falls, and you'll get to see just how incredible this natural formation really is. You'll also spot a multitude of wildlife including birds, butterflies and mammals.

In the evening you'll take part in an entertaining dining experience that invites you to get hands-on with Argentinean cooking, learning how to prepare typical dishes and how to mix regional cocktails, while enjoying a delicious multi-course dinner.

Mendoza Tour the winneries

Transfer to the airport for your included flight to Mendoza - famous for producing some of Argentina's best wines.

Upon arrival you'll be transferred to your boutique hotel near the vineyards with the remainder of the day at leisure.

The following day you'll head out on a tour of the wineries, learning about the traditional and modern methods used to create popular varieties of wine including Malbec and Torrontés. There will also be a tasting of the different lines that the wineries offer, as well as a delicious lunch.

Your third day in Mendoza is completely free for you to do as you wish. You could opt to hire a bike and explore more of the local vineyards. Alternatively, you could book a local horse riding tour and end the day with a traditional Argentinean BBQ. For something more relaxing, head to the Cacheuta Hot Springs.

El Calafate Glaciers and nautical safaris

On day 8 it's time to head further south to the wild region of Patagonia with a domestic flight to El Calafate.

Located near the edge of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, this appealing town is the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park, home to the massive Perito Moreno Glacier, whose ever-shifting icy landscape is popular for hiking and sightseeing.

You'll get to witness the scale of Perito Moreno Glacier for yourself with a tour that takes in the various walkways and viewing platforms facing the glacier. If you're lucky, you may even witness calving - when great chunks of the glacier fall off the side into the water below.

Later in the day, getting even closer to the glacier with a 1hr nautical safari - the boat navigates within 150-metres of the glacier and you'll get to gaze up at the towering wall of ice from water level.

Estancia Ride with the gauchos

On day 10, head 55km out of Calafate to Estancia Nibepo Aike. This century-old ranch sits within Los Glaciares
National Park on the extremely scenic shores of Argentino Lake.

With just 10 rooms, this cosy property is the perfect place to soak up the surroundings and participate in a range of exciting activities including horseback rides to Hidden Glaciers, trekking excursions, and countryside picnics.

As a working ranch, it's common to see gauchos on horseback, herding cattle and sheep until they disappear over the horizon.

Enjoy a night here with lunch and dinner during the day. The gastronomy is typical of Patagonia with stews, casseroles, meats, and pasta some of the types of meals offered at the ranch.

Buenos Aires Departure

After your peaceful night at the ranch, transfer back to El Calafate for your included flight to Buenos Aires. Spend one more night in the capital at leisure before catching your return flight home to the UK after a spell-binding honeymoon adventure.
