Travel to Mexico – Where life is a party

Mexico is about letting go, being seduced, fascinated and enjoying your freedom. It's a country bursting with life and you will easily be charmed to cheer ¡Viva Mexico! On a trip to Mexico you will discover that people here work to live - not the other way around. Mexicans are vivacious lovers of free time and spend every moment possible socialising. Visitors are treated with respect and honour and everywhere you go you'll feel welcome.

The wonderful beaches in Mexico

If you're a beach junkie then Mexico is the place to be. There are plenty of irresistible beaches and a trip to Mexico should include at least one or five trips to the beach. Some of the best and most unspoiled beaches are Zipolite and Puerto Escondido, located on the Oaxaca coast. More touristy but fun-filled beach towns are Acapulco, Cancun, Cozumel, and Playa del Carmen located on the Riviera Maya.

If you want an ideal mix of beaches, Maya culture, cloudless days and a chance to experience some of the world's greatest diving and snorkelling spots, then go to the Yucatan peninsula.

Discover ancient civilizations in Mexico

Ancient Mexico and Central America were home to some of the earliest and most advanced civilizations in the western hemisphere. No matter where you go, pyramids, temples and other remnants of the ancient Mexican civilizations will be close by. A visit to one of the archaeological sites is a must-do during an adventure through Mexico. It is magical to sit on the top of a Mayan temple and see the sun rise while the jungle around you is waking up.

Activities in Mexico

For those craving action, Mexico is the place to be. You can trek in amazing desert landscapes or across stunning snow-capped volcanoes. Check out Mexico's beaches, reefs and river mouths for ideal surf or sea kayak spots. There are also plentiful diving and snorkelling possibilities in Mexico.

We highly recommend that you take a language course and get to grips with Spanish. Take a one or two-week course at one of Mexico's countless language schools.

Getting around Mexico

Most travel in Mexico is by bus or flights for longer distances. The only exception you'll want to make is the Copper Canyon Railway. A few other rail services do run, but they are decrepit, expensive and infrequent. Coaches and buses in Mexico are very comfortable, easy to book and link almost all towns and cities. Central bus terminals in major cities provide service and information on fares and schedules. If you want the ultimate freedom and if you have some extra bucks to spend, there are rental cars available at airports, city centres and resorts.
