Itinerary

Comfort Ancient and Hidden Ayutthaya by Tuk Tuk

You will be picked up from your hotel at 07:00. You'll travel directly to Bangkok's Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal. From here, you'll continue by train to Ayutthaya. The train offers a unique window into daily life as you travel along the railroad.

Once in Ayutthaya, explore the city by tuk tuk. Set out for the temples: Wat Mahathat with the Buddha head in the tree trunk, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, which was the holiest temple in the Ayutthaya period, Wat Lokayasutharam with its impressive 37 meters long reclining Buddha, the Chao Sam Phraya Museum, and finally Wat Chaiwatthanaram, the largest ancient site located next to the Chao Phraya River.

We'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant to sample the unique flavors of the local cuisine. For dessert, you'll have a hands-on experience making Roti Sai Mai (also known as Ayutthaya candy floss crepes/pancakes). It's an impressive art form refined over decades, with deep roots in Ayutthaya. It’s not easy, but with a bit of practice, you'll get the hang of it!

With stomachs full and imaginations nurtured, you will venture back towards Bangkok by van, arriving at your hotel around 18:00.
