Itinerary
Borneo Extension - 4 Days
Day 1: Sepilok
Day 2: Sepilok - Kinabatangan
Visit the world-famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. In the morning you will be picked up from your accommodation and transferred to Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve, where the centre is located. The centre offers a sanctuary for the endangered primates where they can find safety and comfort. Upon arrival, a short briefing will be given by your guide before proceeding on a boardwalk through the lowland rainforest to spot the primates. Afterwards, it's time to transfer to Tanini Kinabatangan, so sit back and enjoy the journey to Bilit Village, which is located in the upper Kinabatangan River. Enjoy 2.5 hours of driving through remote villages and patches of rainforest. Arrive at Bilit Jetty, board the speed boat and cross the river to the lodge for registration. After a quick briefing about the lodging, meal times and the activities, you will check-in. In the afternoon, gather at the lobby for the first adventure. Board a boat and start to cruise along the Kinabatangan River in search of wildlife. Admire the stunning river landscape as the sun sets. Dinner will be served at the canteen (included).

Day 3: Kinabatangan River
Early morning wake up and join another cruise to observe more wildlife actively feeding in the early morning, before retreating under the canopy of the nearby forest, to shade from the heat of the sun. During the cruise, you may explore an oxbow lake or secondary river. Continue with the exploration of the river banks, before returning to the lodge for breakfast.
In the late afternoon, set off for another river adventure as we cruise in search of more wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner (included).

Day 4: Kinabatangan Departure - End of services
After breakfast, check out from the lodge, cross the river by speed boat back to Bilit Jetty. At the jetty, meet with your driver for the SIC (Sharing coach) transfer to the hotel or Sandakan airport, or continue your journey towards your next destination.
