The Mesa campervan is an update to the classic "Mavericks" model. The Mesa model provides standard amenities of a kitchen and queen-sized bed with a streamlined design and extra storage space.

The BMesa models is available in all Escape rental locations.

All campervans are fully-equipped, custom-built, and hand-painted. They’re perfect for long weekend getaways, cross country bucket list road trips, and national park tours.

The Mesa is about 2-feet longer than the original Mavericks model, so you can keep the rear bucket seats up when you put the bed down (perfect for families with car seats).

Drawers and compartments underneath the back benches provide extra storage and organisation.

Driving and sleeping

This campervan has power steering, power brakes and automatic transmission. If you've never tried an automatic before, don't worry, it's a piece of cake and it will only take a short while to figure out.

This model seats and sleeps up to 4 people with the optional rooftop tent. During night the seating area in the back and table easily converts into a bed. This Escape campervan is ideal for a couple or 2 friends traveling together (4 with optional rooftop tent). Read more

Kitchen facilities

The kitchenette is located at the back of the van and has a sink, stove and dual-powered cooler/refrigerator. At an extra cost of USD 40-45 you can rent a "Kitchen Kit": Bowls & plates / Cups & mugs / 2 pots, 1 pan / Cutlery / Cooking utensils / Dish towel & scrubber / Can opener / Bottle opener / Cutting board / Kitchen knife / Coffee drip / Matches or lighter. Rental Locations and one-way rental

USA: Atlanta, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle.

One-way rental is only allowed within USA. You can, however, pick up in Seattle, drive into Canada, and then drop off back in Seattle (or any other depot in the US). One-way fees vary.

Campervans are not allowed into Mexico for insurance purposes. Read more

The rental price varies according to demand and season. You'll get the lowest price if you book your Mesa campervan well in advance when availability is high. It's also cheaper to travel during low season. On the other hand, if you book close to your departure date or book your camper for high season, you'll pay more. It's just like flight tickets!
