This is the signature model from Escape Campervans. The Mavericks is a popular choice for its big bed, comfortable ride, and all-around great design. Optional rooftop sleeper for a second couple or the children.

The Mavericks is available in USA rental locations only.

All campervans are fully-equipped, custom-built, and hand-painted. They’re perfect for long weekend getaways, cross-country bucket list road trips, and national park tours.

The “dining room” table and benches convert into a big comfy queen-sized bed, and the kitchen has a sink, stove and dual-powered refrigerator.

Extra camping kits are available to rent, including kitchen and bedding kits, so you can hit the road in style. The only thing you need to do is to stop by the grocery store and go!

Driving and sleeping

This campervan has power steering, power brakes and automatic transmission. This model seats and sleeps up to four people with the optional rooftop tent. During the night the seating area in the back and the table easily converts into a bed. Kitchen facilities

The kitchenette is located at the back of the van and has a sink, stove and dual-powered cooler/refrigerator.

At an extra cost of USD $40-45 you can rent a Kitchen Kit that includes: bowls & plates / cups & mugs / 2 pots, 1 pan / cutlery / cooking utensils / dish towel & scrubber / can-opener / bottle opener / cutting board / kitchen knife / coffee drip / matches or lighter. Read more

Rental Locations and one-way rental

USA: Atlanta, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle.

One-way rental is allowed though fees vary depending on the route.

Campervans are not allowed into Mexico for insurance purposes. Read more

You must be at least 21 years of age (at the time of pickup) with a valid driver’s licence to rent an Escape campervan. Escape does not charge a young driver fee. Read more

The rental price varies according to demand and season. You'll get the lowest price if you book your Maverick campervan well in advance when availability is high. It's also cheaper to travel during low season. On the other hand, if you book close to your departure date or book your camper for high season, you'll pay more. It's just like flight tickets!
