Day 1 - Arrive in Bali

Kaja's 6-day adventure started with an arrival transfer at Denpasar airport. It's always nice to have a friendly face waiting for you when you arrive somewhere new. And an arrival transfer means no hassle at the airport - meet your driver, settle into the car and enjoy the views as you're taken to your accommodation for the night.

Kaja spent four nights at the Sri Aksata Ubud Resort, a sanctuary of serenity and sophistication in the village of Ubud. The resort has a beautiful view of the surrounding rice fields and river with a swimming pool you won't want to leave! It's only 5 minutes on foot to reach the Monkey Forest and Ubud Market.

Day 4 - East Bali tour

Today you'll see some of the popular attractions of East Bali.

Pura Lempuyang Luhur or Gate to Heaven a name that is now internationally recognisable is one of the oldest temples in Bali. People believe that it predates the majority of Hindu temples on the Island and is a spiritual gate of sorts. For anyone who wants to visit this revered temple be prepared to walk up 1,700 steps in order to reach its apex from where breathtaking views can be absorbed into memory forever.

Tenganan Pegringsingan lies in the east of Bali and is one of the original Bali Aga, communities that are famed for its preservation of traditional buildings and crafts. Two of its more notable features are its traditional geringsing tie dying style and the annual Perang Pandan (war dance) that happens around June/July annually.
