Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall is one of the three sights of the Golden Circle route. This incredible waterfall attracts thousands of visitors every year, and for a good reason - according to the World of Waterfalls, it is one of the top ten best waterfalls in the world.

Here you will have the opportunity to walk among the bubbling hot springs surrounding the great geysir, but make sure to stay within the restricted area for your safety. Strokkur Geyser is a site that you should definitely not miss before heading to your next stop, spouting water sometimes up to 40m high!

Thingvellir National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Icelandic history and great geological wonders come together here, making the place one of Iceland‘s most exciting sites.

Another worth-a-visit place on this trip is a 3000-year-old Kerid Crater Lake. This 55-meter-deep formation is known for its turquoise watercolor, surrounded by red volcanic rock and green vegetation. Because of the way it looks from above, the lake is also called “The Eye of the World.”

Secret Lagoon
This is the oldest swimming pool in Iceland, a natural hot pool suitable for bathing at all times of the year. The locals call this the “Secret Lagoon” because it was known only to them for a long time.
